About Us
HRES delivers holistic professional counseling services. Our Clinical Director is a Maryland Board-Approved Clinical and Alcohol & Drug Supervisor, so every treatment plan carries real clinical oversight. We use evidence-based methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), grounded in the holistic Adlerian approach, which focuses on a healthy life balance. We believe everyone can work through trauma and build the life they want, and our mental health counseling services are designed to support each client at every step.
HRES supports individuals, couples, families, first responders, healthcare professionals, mental health professionals, military/veterans and organizations seeking compassionate mental health care, professional development, and clinical support.
Why Choose Us
Our mission is to offer compassionate, personalized counseling that can lead to a healthier life. While big platforms can match you with any available therapist, we do more than just the matching. We provide personalized treatment plans and client-centered care. We take a holistic approach to help clients reach a healthy life balance, with particular care for those who have experienced trauma, and for those who serve others professionally while their own needs go unmet.
Compassionate, evidence-based care from a licensed clinical team, tailored to your needs.
No two treatment plans look the same, because no two people do.
A secure, judgment-free space to do the real work of healing.
We have helped clients experience meaningful change. Our approach to professional counseling services is evidence-based.

Read Our
HRES counseling is grounded in the Adlerian Approach, developed by psychologist and psychotherapist Alfred Adler. The approach treats you as goal-oriented, supports clients who are striving for social connection, and want control over your destiny. In Trauma Counseling, an Adlerian therapist will compile family history and details about a client and learn their behavioural patterns. Therapists will work with clients to set new, satisfying, and achievable goals. The goals are in connection with any aspect of life- developing marital or parenting skills, taking control of addictions, or anything else. After establishing objectives, the therapist will assign tasks for the client, set contracts or even offer suggestions for achieving the goals.
